The race is on, and Max Verstappen gave the Oridge Army that created an extraordinary atmosphere at the first Dutch Grand Prix in 36 years with a home victory.

But it was a close one, with Lewis Hamilton pressuring him throughout.

But could he have done more to push for

victory? I'm Ed Straw, and joining me to answer this question, and many more, are Scott Mitchell

and Mark Hughes. Well, Mark, like me, you were at Sandvo. Phenomenal to be back here, great

atmosphere the Dutch fans created. Yeah, absolutely fantastic. First time I've been here since 91, I think.

Some of it very familiar looking and the general feel of the place, just as I remember it,

but obviously the circuit a little bit different. But it's never seen an event like this,

even in its heyday. It's, you know, its H-Day. This was just a phenomenal sporting event.

Yeah, the perfect sign for the Dutch Grand Prix is, of course, all about Max Verstaff.

And Scott Mitchell, you were watching from afar.

Did that atmosphere and the excitement of the crowd and the noise come across through the television coverage?

Yeah, because there were still things throughout the weekend where the roar

of the crowd was unmistakable, one of the loudest was for when Hamilton stopped on track at the

start of FP2. That was incredibly audible in the TV coverage, but just everything, just the

the amazing jubilant scenes in the grandstands,

the, just the, the bright orange colours that just dominated every scenic shot of the track,

the, the, uh, the smoke from the flares coming across.

And just, just everything, everything about it. Just I, I, the smoke from the flares coming across and just

just everything, everything about it.

I obviously can only imagine

what it would have been like actually being there
