And today, Hannah Hogan will not be joining me.

Hannah Hogan is in Columbus, Ohio, bound for Buffalo, New York, where she'll be doing shows at helium this weekend.

And so I'm alone.

Yesterday, well, let's just go back.

Tuesday, Hannah and I tried to record this podcast in the hotel room that we were in in Memphis.

And we recorded about 30 minutes before we realized that the recorder wasn't actually recording.

Then we had to check out of the hotel. Yesterday, I was

recording this podcast by myself. I got about 30 minutes into the podcast. A storm came, lightning struck.

The power went out, and I lost everything that I had recorded. So if you are a follower of the podcast and you were looking for it to come out yesterday,

I do apologize about that because when you do third, I was on a roll yesterday, too.

I really felt like I had some pumping out some jokes.

And then the power went out.

So I was a bit discouraged.

Also, because I lost all that, I had a real thing going, and I'll do my best to recreate it today.

Hopefully it's better.

I'm drinking out of a Bass Pro Shop cup that I just got at the Bass Pro Shop pyramid in Memphis.

So I'm going to tell a story about the time I was shot in the chest and maybe a little bit about a time I was also stabbed.
