Hello everyone and welcome to the game of old holiday spectacular.

George posted two blog posts this month.

The first one got a lot of attention. Why did he get a lot of attention?

Because he said some things about House of the Dragon that probably HBO wouldn't have wanted

him to say. A lot of things about House of the Dragon.

He pulled an egg in that situation. He's like, oh, I couldn't hear you.

I didn't hear you say I forgot about all those emails

back in the early 20 jeans.

Another blog post about doorways.

I hadn't seen it before, you hadn't seen it before you hadn't seen it before. It was a

great watch if you have time over the holiday vibe season 100% recommend watching it. I thought the story about how doorways came to be and then eventually how that fit into a song of ice and fire and a game of thrones being written and how that came to be and just a little glimpse into

the mechanics of the creative process such an interesting read it was such a great post I mean okay whatever I'm always

gonna love every single post that George writes but I just felt like the

personal struggle and then triumph of this project that he was really interested in

that he came up with on the flight over to LA, which is bold, turned into something he was really proud of, didn't work out, and then from that he

had the time and opportunity to go back to this necessary feeling after being burned.

Which he had been he said like a hundred pages in at that point to writing a game of

Thrones and then from that birth to his next or his

great thing that he will as he says in the post likely be known for and so it was such a great story about the I don't

really know what the right phrase is but the the writing process and he talked about this all the time but like the rejection and the

need to be creative and you know the inner workings of television and book writing da da da da da da da.

It seems like there's something mystical attached to that.
