Well, on the Lutus today, we're talking about a very big topic, a huge aspect of running any

tabletop role-playing game, and that is non-player characters.

Non-player characters, I have to say, is one of my favorite aspects of running a game.

When I'm preparing my worlds, when I'm preparing my campaigns, I love to develop super duper detailed NPCs with great personalities,

great backstories, and throw them at my players.

It's one of the great joys I have of writing a game.

And really, another one of those great joys is watching my players interact with NPCs.

To me, it's one of the biggest aspects to the interaction of a role-playing game.

The players interacting with the characters of my world and really getting themselves ingrained into the setting via the people that make up that setting.

They really are the lifeblood of a role-playing campaign and campaign setting.

What importance do you put on non-player characters, NPCs in your games?

So, I mean, depending on the system itself, I feel like the MPCs are kind of the

gears, the mechanics of the system itself. So it's very important to me to have all my ducks in a row.
