And I gotta say, no one in the world I think understands the power of TV quite like Donald Trump, who of course was a reality TV star in NBC before turning to politics.

Fact hosting the apprentice is what allowed him to sell Americans the false narrative that he was a wildly successful businessman capable of running the country.

TV fame gave him the name recognition to compete and win in a Republican primary against a slate of better funded and well frankly more qualified candidates.
