We've got a lot of fucking dumb smart people in this country.

You know what I mean?

Hey, look at that.

And a disproportionate number of them work for Hillary Clinton in 2016.

We have this layer of elites on top of the society that's crumbling in my opinion.

But because the folks at the top are insulated from this integration, it doesn't matter.

And one of the things that makes me really sad is that I think a couple decades ago,

if you were smart and savvy and hustled and good with people, like, and there were all

of these paths open to you that didn't involve your SAT score.

Now if you're just like a good person and hardworking and have some savvy and people skills, you

may not actually be able to live a sustainable middle class life.

I remember sitting with Van and learning about his backstory and all that he went through

from his family on up.

And it's incredible.

That guy has an arc you would not believe.

And even after he, you know, quote unquote, made it, he had this somewhat fall from grace

when he left the White House.

And then he ended up working for Prince, who's like, you know, superhero in my mind.

So his ups and downs are incredible.

But really the most incredible things like his genesis, where coming up out of rural Tennessee

and winding up, working on the coasts after getting kind of sucked up into the, like,

the elite institutions.
