The woman who accused members of the Duke lacrosse team of rape in 2006 is now admitting

she lied.

Daily Wire editor Ash Short has the details.

Crystal Mangum, now 46, made the admission during an interview with

Caterina de Pascua at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women, where

Mengham is serving time for killing her boyfriend in 2011. Mengum said she knows what she did was

wrong and that she made up the story because she was seeking validation. She also said she hoped the three falsely accused men could forgive her.

Mengham has maintained for nearly 20 years that she was raped during a party thrown by the Duke University men's lacrosse team back in 2006,

even writing a book about her claims after she was proven to have lied.

Trump borders are Tom Homan spoke at a GOP holiday party in Chicago this week.
