Well the first thing that came to mind, and I think the 80s was a fine time for duets. Don't you feel like you just saw so many duets in the 80s that are burned into your childhood brain? I thought of Linda Ronstan and Paul Simon on Under African skies from Graceland because it's just a beautiful

song and her voice just sounds like this ethereal goddess creation just cutting through the music. I love it.
