Well, Rube, I've heard about dueling pianos before but dueling

conferences is a new one for me. I've done that dueling pianos thing it's a

lot of fun and it's more fun than doing press conferences.

Yeah, I bet. This is the Eagle I podcast with Group and Frank I'm Dave Zengaro. We're going to go through both of them. So at around noon it was supposed to start on Thursday. We got a chance to talk to Howie Roseman and Nick Seriana and 1230 Carson Wence was having this introductory press conference in Indianapolis.

Well, the Eagles started, what, about 15 minutes late.

So by the end of the Eagles press conference Carson had already begun. So it was just, you know, you were kind of following Carson and I was following the end of the Eagles one. And look, I hope this is the last time we really spend the bulk of the

podcast talking about Carson because it won't be. I'm getting a little fatigued at this point, but, and I think some of the fan base probably is too, if I'm getting fatigued by it.

But I think it's important to go through what he said, what Harry Roseman said in his first public comments that weren't to the team about this trade and we'll try to put the trade to bed a little bit. It's not completely because we know that we still have to figure out what that conditional pick turns into and and we're always going to watch Carson's career in this city, but let's start with Wences press conference. I thought that there was more intrigue there honestly was the first time he had

spoken since December 6th that was the day he got benched in the third quarter

and he talked after that game and that was the last time we heard from Carson.

So you were there for the entire virtual press conference.

What did you make of Carson's comments?

Yeah, it was weird.

I mean, it was really weird.

And there's something he avoided talking about, but there's other things that he addressed pretty much head on and

I don't think he looked real good with some of them.

He took some accountability for how he played last year.
