Hello friends, welcome back to the airport, Omedsko be reporting live for duty with your

0:10.8

weekly Royal News debrief. I hope everyone is well. I am sat alone in the driver's seat

0:17.2

this week, but that does not stop me from getting through a mountain of Royal News.

0:23.6

It has, of course, been very busy week. I feel like I say that every time, but this week

0:28.2

no more than ever. The Duchess of Cambridge made a major announcement with her most ambitious

0:34.9

project to date, launching an early childhood centre within the Royal Foundation. This is of

1:46.8

waiting until the final day, partly because she had other things to do. There was an in-person

1:52.0

meeting with the Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, at the start of the week.

1:57.5

But this year, of course, was different. It was the first time that she was attending since the

2:01.5

death of Prince Philip. And we know how special the meaning of this week is to her. She's a patron

2:08.1

of Royal Ascot's since coming to the throne in 1952. And she's the first ever reigning monarch to
