to be worshipped or unconditionally obeyed except for you.

We turn to you, O Allah acknowledging that you are the one who has bestowed all blessings

upon us, that we are completely in need of you and you are completely independent of

us, that you are completely self-sufficient and we are completely vulnerable in a need

of you.

We turn to you, O Allah acknowledging that every blessing in our lives, every blessing

of health, blessing of wealth, our children, our families, everything that we have, every

breath of air, we thank you, O Allah acknowledging that all of it comes from you.

We bear witness that each and every single blessing has come from you.

We thank you and we praise you for those blessings, O Allah.

We ask you to keep those blessings for us, O Allah.
