shoe shoppers are in for a treat. DSW is testing a new layout to make the shopping experience

a little more posh, focusing on its more well-known brand offerings. The typical DSW approach

mixes different brands on the same shelf

organized by the shoe style. So you may find a bunch of sneakers brands over here, all of the

sandal brands over there. Get it? The pilot location in Houston, which is being called Warehouse

Reimagined, features store within a store centers for brands like Birkenstock, Crocs,

Adidas, and others, where you can find all of the brand options in one place.

The new layout will still allow customers to grab their own size shoes and will also have

QR codes so customers can access more information about the shoes on their phones.
