President Trump urged Republicans to, quote, nationalize elections and have the federal

government take over voting in certain states, despite the Constitution assigning election

administration to the states and giving the president no such authority.

Despite the concept. We say that a lot these days.

Trump is doing this despite the fact that it's unconstitutional.

But yeah, go on.

He repeated false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, alleged without evidence that

some states manipulated results and allowed undocumented immigrants to vote and pointed to Georgia

as a place where, quote, interesting things would emerge.

His comments followed an FBI search tied to 2020 election materials and came to spite

courts and national security officials repeatedly finding no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

Yeah, I just want to remind everybody that he doesn't actually seek evidence.
