Starting with, Donald Trump announced he is raising his newly proposed global

tariff from 10% to 15%.

A day after the Supreme Court of the U.S. struck down most of his earlier

sweeping tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. The court ruled

6.3 that the 1977 law did not authorize his broad import duties, leaving only certain sector-specific tariffs intact.

Trump is now invoking Section 122 of the 1974 Trade Act to impose a temporary 15% tariff for up to 150 days,
