Today, I’m going to share some of the amazing benefits of dry fasting and water fasting. There are over 50 genes that protect us from famine and drought and produce many health benefits. Fasting can help you lose weight, burn fat, and live longer. It helps improve cardiovascular health and can improve your blood sugars.
A study involving birds compared birds who ate food and drank water, birds who only drank water, and birds who were essentially dry fasting as they flew across the desert. The group of dry-fasting birds generated 6 times more water than the group of birds that drank water! The dry-fasting birds also burned more fat.
When fat is burned with oxygen from the air, it turns into water. The idea that we need massive amounts of water was developed from a campaign that terrified us of dehydration! You don’t need to overdo it with water; you just need to drink when you’re thirsty.
Dry fasting is a useful tool for weight loss, but you want to ensure you do it correctly for the most fasting benefits. Follow a low-carb diet for a while before trying dry fasting. Once your body is adapted to fat burning, you’ll find that fasting is much easier.
Try water fasting before attempting dry fasting. If you’re water fasting, you can consume water, electrolytes, supplements, and sea salt. If you’re dry fasting, you don’t consume anything.
One day of dry fasting is equal to three days of water fasting! Dry fasting turns off digestion and allows the kidneys time to rest, allowing your body to switch into repair mode.
After your fast, begin eating gradually. Kefir and bone broth are good choices to break your fast.

0:14.2 | cardiovascular, better blood sugars. But my question is, way in the past when we had |
0:19.9 | a famine and adapted to it through these genetics, didn't we also have a drought? |
0:26.2 | If that's true, don't we have genes that also protect us against dehydration? |
0:32.2 | I looked it up and the answer is absolutely there's |
0:35.5 | over 50 different genes that protect us and also produce a lot of health |
0:41.3 | benefits. I stumbled on this amazing study I want to share with you. |
0:45.5 | It was on little birds that can fly across the desert without water to survive. |
0:51.4 | And there was a study and the first group they fed them food |
0:54.2 | and water. The second group no food just water and the third group no food and |
0:59.9 | no water. That's called dry fasting and the results blew me away. The dry fasting group |
1:07.4 | generated six times more water than the group fasting group also burned more fat. But when fat is |
1:19.0 | burned with oxygen from the air, the chemistry of it turns it into water. |
1:26.3 | I think we can use dry fasting to our benefits. |
1:30.4 | But I first want to tell you where this whole water thing came from as far as people pushing water on you. |
1:37.0 | It's actually developed from a campaign when the government partnership with certain corporations called Drink Up. Don't drink the tap water. We must have bottle water. So the companies that sell |
1:48.1 | bottle water are behind those campaigns and they basically brainwashed, I'm sorry, educated us that we need to drink more water. |
1:56.7 | Because dehydration is the most dangerous thing. Well, if that's true, then we should also never go without food. We should probably eat every hour and be nourished. |
