It helps when you make the effort, turn to it, find it, let your eyes rest upon it and of course you ought to always

check up on the preacher that's right every preacher don't don't you just swallow something

because somebody said it because some preacher said it don't you just swallow it is it bible

or is it somebody's opinion?

Right?

Is it Bible or is it somebody's theory?

Is it Bible or is it somebody's conviction or experience?

Because only the word is worthy of you building your life upon.

Only the word. And being a doer of his word is the of you building your life upon. Only the word.

And being a doer of his word is the only thing that will withstand all storms of life.

You know, most people will agree with that, but the reality is that so many people's

life is not built on the word. It's built on their opinions,

their theories, their experiences, other people's theories and opinions. No, where's the verse?

Right? Where's it at? In the Bible. You know, I know the first year that I went to Rima Bible school some years ago, the Lord challenged me during that year.

I remember it distinctly.

I don't mean I heard a voice, but inside me in a time of prayer, the Lord challenged me to examine everything I believed and why I believed it.

And he challenged me every time you realize I believe this, find it in the book.
