The owner of Novo Nordisk is joining forces with one of the world's biggest contract manufacturing firms.

Novo Holdings said last week that it would buy Catalan for $16.5 billion, including debt, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Novo Holdings will then flip three critical Catalan plants to Novo Nordisk for $11 billion.

Now, if Novo Nordisk sounds familiar, it's because that's the name behind Wigovi and Ozempic.
