Other than that, how are things going in the Great White North?

Yeah, a little under the weather, but other than that, so my voice might be a little off.

But other than that, good, my blue days have won four in a row to climb back to 500.

So we're believers again. The sky was falling when Jeff Hoffman blew those couple saves in Los Angeles. And then four in a row. So now they had a day off. There's nothing, no better feeling maybe for a team than a little winning streak. And then you fly home. And yeah. So we'll see, we'll see where it goes from it goes yeah let's briefly let's talk about uh hoffman because we probably won't do seven struggling closers or something of that nature that we'll move on a different topic because we kind of already did that with closers already uh what happened with hoffman in those two games against the angels that allowed him to just bounce right back for those two

games against the Mariners where he's dominant again yeah um well the first our uh trouble with

home runs he gave up two on nine pitches um which is that bad like yeah really and really unlike

him so he's only giving up one other home run all season um i i think Jays have worked off him pretty hard. Like he's already thrown 19 innings. He's already made 16 appearances. Like they've had him work two innings a few times, including a few days before those games in Los Angeles. So I wonder if he just, like I said, he's been worked harder than the average closer so far this year. I feel like the Js are mostly kind of like just teetering, hanging around in the race. Like their team's not that good, but if they put it all together, they can hang around in the race. And so I feel like they've been leaning on him because he has pitched really well this year overall so they've been leaning on him

to carry him through some close games sometimes pitching two innings and i wonder if it just

caught up with him but then he comes back and in seattle pitches twice and gets all six outs via

strikeouts so then no base runners so i'm invested in hoffman i wish i had him in the main event i

don't uh instead i'm dealing with riselel Iglesias. Uh, you know, good thing. I, that was my my guy. The my guy record's not going so well. Blake Snell and Rizel Iglesias, both at a six count there. And, uh, the glacius had some help yesterday. But the, the problem is he just hasn't been dominant enough. Dominant enough.

It's getting a little babbiped, too. But still, Hoffman, I've got in Tout. I traded for him in XFL. I think I have him one other league as well. So seeing that little dark turn was kind of scary, but I think he's back a little bit now. We'll see. It's just a weird couple of days in Anaheim, and who hasn't had a weird couple of days in Anaheim between us? Yeah, I'm not worried about him. With Iglesias, it really comes down to the home runs. Like, he's already giving up six home runs this year. That's more home runs than he gave up all last season.
