This is StoryQuest. Today's story is Droid the Ditsy Robot.

0:12.0

Robots are everywhere these days. They help surgeons perform operations, build cars in factories, and even clean our carpets at home.

0:22.3

The planet where our story begins is called Technica, and it's even more robot mad.

0:28.4

In fact, no one has a job because the robots do everything.

0:32.9

The non-robots can't really call them humans as they're seven foot tall and green,

0:37.4

just lays around,

0:39.6

enjoying painting and reading and sleeping, whilst the robots keep everything going.

0:45.7

Sounds pretty good, right? In fact, one of the finest painters in the galaxy live on Technica,

1:40.7

robot supermarket. This resulted in a small short circuit that no one noticed,

1:47.0

and to be fair, it only caused one teeny tiny problem hardly worth worrying about. It just meant

1:53.5

that droid completely lost all sense of direction. Yeah, you can see, thinking about it, This might be a problem for a delivery robot.

2:04.6

If the instructions said, go left, he went right. If a house number said one, two, three, he would knock on the door of three, two, one.

2:13.0

And instructions with more than three lines in it made his circuits ache. So basically, he was

2:20.2

terrible at his job. But it was the only job he had, his whole reason for being. I'd say he was
