The victim's family outraged when the driver set free. Here's what happened. Douglas County sheriffs say they pulled over a driver near Thornton Road, I-20, and Lithia Springs. In the car, they find 21-year-old Malachi Mitchell shot dead. The drivers taken

being set up. He then fled the scene but was stopped by deputies due to erratic

driving. That traffic stop near Thornton Road and Interstate 20 led to deputies discovering

Mitchell's body inside the vehicle. The district attorney's office has not commented on the case,
