I'm pulling out of the parking space. We all know what that means it's time for another drive to work.

of a designer, especially of a lead designer or head designer. So what I'm going to do is talk about

And it's interesting to sort of point out how, like, the neat thing about it is,

So I'm going to sort of walk through all the different responsibilities and just give the idea that, like, one of the other things about my job is that um i've been doing a long

time that there's a lot of different components to it there's a lot of different that when i when i

deal with any one set the lifespan of a set so for example we'll start from the beginning and go to the

end so what is the very first thing i do well the very first thing first thing I do is what we call the seven-year plan.

So way, way back when Randy Bueller was my boss, he said, you know what, we need to plan

more ahead because we had done something, I forget what it was, but we got ourselves in

trouble because we really hadn't thought ahead of where we were going.

And maybe it was Onslaught.

It's like Onslaught had this problem where we decided we were going to do a tribal set, but we didn't know that until we got there.

And so Odyssey had done this thing where we messed around and didn't use all our normal tribes.

So we didn't have goblins and we didn't have Murphook and we didn't have elves.

And when you got to on-flot and it starts caring about goblins and elves and stuff,

and it wasn't in the previous set and that was a problem.

And that had we just understood ahead of time, oh, we're going to be doing tribal and these
