I am your host, Megan Schuster, and we are here to talk about season eight of Drive to Survive.

I am joined as always by Spanors, and this show specifically is about episode four of season eight titled A Bull with No Horns.

The Long Goodbye, they should have called it, the long lingering goodbye.

And obviously Christian Horner has been kind of integral as a character in Drive to

Survive since the beginning, I think. And so for the team to suddenly realize, oh, I'm one of our

main commenter go-to talking haired characters has just been sacked. You know, what do we do?

And so they had this whole, you I, have I mentioned I have a

massive house and horses before? Well, just for one last time, here's my massive house and

horses. Have you seen me almost throw my very famous wife into the pool, fully clothed,

and wearing white? I don't want to divert your master plan. But yeah, that obviously that took a focus of the last

part of the episode. And obviously they got the news somewhere and they had to talk about it. And

then I guess they had to recreate that scene again of like shock and surprise and sadness and

everything. And you know, set up a TV studio in his barn to do that.

And I mean, it got the message, you know, across of what a significant part of his life he was losing.

And the kind of, when the axe fell, it fell suddenly.

And I think that is illustrated by the fact that, you know, they had no more

footage of him at the track. It just happened. And I believe Corner said it was 24 hours after

Silverston, he got the call to come to London where he was promptly fired. So yeah, it did seem,

you know, F1 wise to be relatively quick from there.
