And with Kenyon Sadiq and my number two player, Michael Trigg, it goes back to the open.

I talked about how the tied-in position kind of sets a table for what you want to be offensively. I once heard that if you want to see what a team wants to be with their identity offensively, just look at the tight-end position. And you have these guys that can really help you, you know, disguise what you're doing from a personnel standpoint, from a scheme standpoint,

and help you really draw out the best matchup defensively with how your tight ends are deployed in an NFL offense in 2026.

to close the week of capsules as we are on to the tight ends that's it let's go oh the tight end position

one of the enigmas of the NFL in my opinion and we seen this position, I think more than any in the last

couple of years, kind of reshape the way teams envision offensive football and the way

defense is match personnel, because you get flexible tight ends, you get multiple tight ends in the

formation. It can make you disguise what you want to do from an offensive attack standpoint, and it can really,

really help kind of meld your scheme into one static look from which you can branch off

multiple variances from that. And so with that in mind, with the fact that the dolphins have

three free agents, one restricted free agent in the hopper

here. This becomes one of the most interesting positions of the offseason. And quite frankly,

I think we're getting closer to the ultimate vision and goal, or at least we were in 25,

as to what you would want from this position group. And, you know, it was kind of a slow build, a slow burn towards production at this spot.

But you got it with Johnny Smith.

And you got it this year with Darren Waller, Greg Dulcich, and Julian Hill getting some more passing game run.

So I think this room is interesting for those two reasons, what it looks like for the Miami Dolphins,

and then what it just looks like across the National Football League.

and a decent tight end draft class.
