I think the biggest upshot of these young, talented players you have at the position with Grant Phillips and Biggers is they get a second year working with Austin Clark, whose developmental track record, it speaks for itself.

And so I think you have a chance here to see a big, big jump in production here from the defensive tackles in the 2026 season for your Miami Dolphins.

So we heard about the reports of Kevin Petulow as a passing game coordinator here for the Miami

Dolphins offense.

And just real quick on that, it kind of goes back to the discussion we had about Nathaniel Hackett going into when it looked like he was going to be the quarterback's coach. Hey, sometimes guys earn promotions and it doesn't work out and they go back to that role. And they're pretty damn good in that role. Think about Joe Barry, defensive coordinator for the Packers, loses that responsibility, that role, comes here, becomes a linebacker's coach. And coach is a first team all pro linebacker in Jordan Brooks and back to back years and gets the best play of his entire career. So it does happen. And that was Kevin Petulowal's role for the Eagles prior to being the OC with a quarterback that was pretty limited in terms of

what he can do from a Reed standpoint and a process standpoint. So just want to get that out there

and we'll see how that plays out. But I think some of the discourse around that is a little bit

overblown at this point. And the quarterback's coach reportedly per, you know,

shefters and rap sheets of the world, Bush Hamden, who is currently, or was currently, I should say, that's not what currently means, was at Mississippi State as the assistant head coach. He's worked with quarterbacks for a long time now, Kentucky, Boise State, Missouri, Washington, the Falcons. He's been around the block. And the biggest connection I see here is that he was at Boise State as the O.C.

and quarterbacks coach when some of y'all's favorite quarterback prospect,

Taylin Green, recently of Arkansas, was there as well.

So a connection to a draft prospect here coming up.
