And on today's show, a bit of a bonus episode. No film review to do today since we did that on Friday. So we're going to talk about some general NFL. We're going to talk about the future, the future of your Miami Dolphins. We'll sort of step back and take a look at what's ahead for the Dolphins, what's worked so far, how they can build off of that. And I want to talk a little bit of college football since I was able to take in a bunch of those games on Saturday. From the

And that's the nice part about playing games outside of the weekend schedule, in my position, at least, is it gives you a full weekend.

We took the kids on Saturday to a touch-a-truck event in Pembroke Pines, and any fathers of two-year-old boys out there know how big of a deal of this to be able to sit in a garbage truck, fire truck, a police car, as my son says, police officer, excavator, and on and on and on.

And you know, one of my favorite liners from one of my favorite podcasters, Daniel Jeremiah always says,

is that little boys either gravitate towards one of two things, trucks or balls, sports pulls.

Now my son has a hell of a golf swing, but he's on that truck kick right now.

It's Danny Go.

It's blippy.

It's stealing the toy trains from his daycare.

The guy literally snuck a Thomas the train toy out of daycare on Friday, like he's in a guy

Richie film and had it all weekend for himself.

This is all a prelude to say that once touch a truck, touch a truck was over,

it was all football for the weak fields this weekend because the end of the touch of truck got rained out.

And as you locals will know this, it pretty much rained all weekend.

Hell, I'm recording this on a Monday afternoon, and it is dumping right now on the Baptist Hill

Training Complex. I actually had a tea time Saturday at 2.12 in the afternoon, and it starts to drizzle like at 1 o'clock, and I'm ready to head and out think, like, oh, it's going to be cartpath only, but at least we'll play golf today. Wrong. Wrong. By the time I got a few blocks away from the course, it was like the entire roadway was puddling. And I'm like, all right, I guess we can wait this out.
