Summary

Everyone thirsts for the divine life. No one is content without it, even proclaimed secularists. Christ has come to give us that life and he calls us to seek it in him. Although no one will be fully satisfied in this life, the more we partake in the person of Christ, the more we will be fulfilled.

0:57.0	religion is just a childish fantasy that science has undermined all of its claims, that it's
1:03.6	violent and dangerous. And I try as best I can to engage these arguments. Go on my YouTube
1:11.8	forums if you doubt me here and see some of these extended conversations I've had with secularists
1:16.8	and atheists. But occasionally I hear some of these folks say some version of this. I don't
1:26.2	need religion. I'm perfectly happy as I am. This world gives me all that I require. Now I've
1:35.8	got to tell you, when I hear that I just smile because I don't believe them. And I usually respond
1:44.7	with some version of this. If you don't believe in God and have absolutely no need of the spiritual
1:51.2	life, why are you spending so much time on my forum? Of course, it's true that a lot of them
1:56.5	come back again and again, telling me they just don't have any need for religion. Well, why are
2:02.0	they spending so much time on a religion forum? See, the bottom line is, saying to gustan was
2:08.3	dead right when he said, Lord, you have made us for yourself. Therefore our hearts are restless
2:17.3	until they rest in the everybody. Believer and nonbeliever alike knows in his bones that this is
2:28.4	true. And I've wagered my life on it. The proof of it, by the way, is that nothing in this world,
