Well, lots to get to. We'll get to the Manafort trial. We'll get to Trump and Mueller.

And can you believe the summer is slipping away from us now?

Well, we have a month at least.

Yeah, but we got cheated. You you know if it seems like a short

summer you lost several weeks of the summer dude one week was all rain one week was too hot to go

out uh and now it just we've had two weeks of rain here this is not good even this week has been

kind of wet yeah and too humid too hot, too hot. Anyway, speaking to a hot

Manafort on trial, although I think he's got a chance of beating this, a good chance

of beating this. Now, it was a huge strategic error by Mueller to bring this case because

it's absolute proof that he's got absolutely nothing on Donald Trump.

And everybody's starting out.

They're not really focused yet on this because it's not a televised case.

But they're going to start to wonder, why is he prosecuting a bank fraud case from 2005 that has nothing to do with anything?

It was an old FBI case that they had investigated Manafort way back then for this, and they didn't go ahead with the case.

They weren't sure they could win it.

Believe it or not, in law enforcement, prosecutors, a lot of times they don't say, we've got to do the right thing and prosecute.

They actually calculate very carefully the odds of winning, and if it's 89%, they go with the case. If it's 52%, they don't go with the case. If it's a high-profile case, they don't want to, if you watch the show billions, you know that they're very big on their records. They can quote it. I'm 96 and 0. I'm 89 and 1. They're like baseball players. So they threw this case out.

They just didn't think they could do it.

So Mueller, when he came in and couldn't find anything on anybody, he dug out this old FBI case and he's brought it.

And they got, unfortunately, for Mueller, a very honest, honorable judge who's doing a great job.
