People give you a ton of credit during the pandemic era of the WW.

Now, what allowed you to succeed in this environment?

I mean, I appreciate when people give me credit for stepping up during that period,

but I always say everybody stepped up during that period.

Our entire rosters across Ross, Macdon and NXT,

when every other entertainment and sports company shut down,

we pushed ahead.

You know, everybody said, okay, if we're going to be the only place around to take people's minds off what's going on in the world, and we're going to give it our all. For me personally, as champion, I kind of lean by example, I think what helped me in that role, which I know helped me in that role, was my journey to that point. You know, I don't know, everyone knows my story that's watching, but I always wanted to be in

WWE. It was always my dream. It was signed at 21, first ever Scotsman assigned to WWE.

Vince McMahon announced me as the chosen one, the future of the company when I was 23, 24 years old

on television, was Indoconnell champion, tag team champion, everything going great until it wasn't.

And suddenly I was part of a comedy group and losing all the time.

And my personal life was a shambos.

And I got fired.

And during that period, I really had to find myself as a wrestler and as a person.

And it was throughout all those ups and downs
