Summary

Today, we are looking at one of Graham Cooke’s favorite questions: What does it mean to dream with God? We’re not talking about dreams of the night or daydreams; we’re exploring dreaming in the context of hope and imagination, where we have a glorious expectation of something wonderful occurring because of who God is.

0:59.0	And the beautiful part of what Graham is about to share is the idea that God actually dreams about us.
1:06.0	Let's hear a bit more about this as we learn that our dreams are initiated by God.
1:14.0	This week, we're going to look at what it means to dream with God.
1:19.0	And in this context, we're not talking about dreams of the night or day dreams.
1:24.0	We're talking about dreaming in the context of hope and imagination.
1:30.0	Hope is a glorious expectation of something wonderful occurring because of who God is.
1:39.0	Now, God wants you to have brilliant dreams about life with Him and who you are becoming in Christ.
1:46.0	He wants to move you out of the realm of the practical and logical and into the territory of creativity, imagination, and dreaming of what is possible because Christ lives in you.
2:04.0	So the first key in dreaming with God is we don't initiate our dreams with God. He does.
2:10.0	And as we've talked about this before, God is always the initiator of our spirituality and we are the responders.
2:21.0	The classic example is 1 John 419.
2:24.0	We love Him because you got it. He first loved us.
2:31.0	God loves us first and we respond to that love by receiving it and living in it.
2:39.0	And it's the same with dreams.
2:41.0	Our first question is always, Lord, what are you dreaming about me? What's in your heart?
