You can find a seat once again.

I'm so grateful to get to stand in this moment.

And five years in to the journey of Auburn Community Church,

there have been so many moments where I have expected this to become easier. What do I mean by this? I mean the process

of you guys coming in, sitting down with your Bibles and expecting me to take a passage of

scripture and apply it to this moment in our church and this moment in our lives.

I expected somehow for experience to make the Monday through Saturday easier.

And it just seems to be getting more complicated and more difficult, if I could just be

honest with you.

But I'm grateful for it because I woke up today after a week of

struggling with the message I'm about to preach to you. And I just felt this sense of freedom,

I would say authority that God has given me. I've done the work done the work you've cultivated the soil you've done

everything you know how to do but now I'm going to bring the part of it that you can't do on

your own which is really the most decisive part and I'm going to fill you with my spirit and I'm

going to say what I want to say to my people so So today might feel like God's been reading your mail.

It might feel like this is a sermon that you wish you heard 25 years ago. It might feel like things

could have been different if you applied this all along. But I believe in every season of life, every age and stage, this word is intended to meet you right where you are.

And I believe what we're going to encounter today is the obstacle between where we are and living out so many of the God-sized dreams in our lives.

We started a series called Dreamer last week, and it is not a series about just dreaming big dreams. It's about the

collision of God-sized dreams with daily frustrating struggles. So number one, we want to have a

God-size vision for our lives. What does that mean? That means I want you to put your hope

in a resurrected Savior so much so that you actually believe that there is a life possible this side of heaven that can only be explained by God.
