I'm Jason Vanette and my dilemma is whether or not I should travel with duct tape to make

sure that the hotel blinds or curtains close all the way.

Oh my God. This is totally a problem that I have. In fact, it probably would have ended

up being a South bitch sessions in the future. I cannot sleep with light anywhere. When I

get to a hotel room, I immediately unplugged the alarm clock. I put pillows in front of

anything that has a light on it and I silently curse at the fire detector on the ceiling,

whatever that's called because they always have that one blinking light that you can do

nothing about. This one hotel I said in Miami every single time, the drape doesn't cover

both sides. There's a there's a tiny sliver of light on both sides. And as soon as it becomes

morning, I'm inevitably like rolling around putting various pillows and sheets above my

head to try to block it out. So I 100% know where you're coming from, Jason. And it never

occurred to me even to bring duct tape to try to fix this. That is brilliant. In fact,

I think this might be the first time that the commission doesn't have to fix anything

because you've fixed it for yourself. Yes, you should bring duct tape and potentially

also some very opaque, very non-sea-thru material with which to duct tape and hang over lengthy

spaces because sometimes the duct tape might not be able to reach the full gap. So I think

together we have come up with the solution, which is not practical at all, but it requires

packing duct tape and some sort of opaque material, maybe buy an extra set of the blackout
