Let's dive into this episode. Dream catchers or demon catchers. Are dream catchers more than just innocent decorative objects you're hanging in your car and you're hanging in your

house or there's more to them and they could actually cause you to catch demons.

Dream catchers are considered a powerful symbol of Native American culture and spirituality

and are often given as gifts to the loved ones

to protect them from negative energy and bad dreams.

Now in our culture today dream catchers are widely used actually

as objects of decoration they are incorporated into jewelry, clothing, and other accessories.

Dreamcatchers are traditional Native American crafts

that are believed to filter out bad dreams

and only have good dreams to pass through to the sleeper. They typically consist of a hoop made out of willow wood

decorated with feathers, beads and other objects

and a woven web or net inside of the hoop.

Now there is one legend, there's quite few of those legends, but one of them

actually says that how the dream catchers came to be is there was a grandmother watching patiently

each day as a spider spun its web over her sleeping place until one day her grandson

noticed a spider and tried to kill it.

Don't hurt him, she told the boy in a soft tone surprising him.

But the grandmother, you shouldn't protect the spider, the grandson said.

And of course, the grandmother protected the spider. The spider thanked the woman for her protection and offered her a gift.

And the spider said, I will spin you a web that hangs between you and the moon
