All right, let's get right into it.

Here's Josh McDaniels talking about the mindset the New England Patriots have to have in this Super Bowl offensively. I think more than anything else, really three things.

He has to be himself.

Like you can't go play in this game and try to do something that's really not in your comfort zone. And then he has to take

care of the football and be aggressive at the same time. And there's no fine line on that. It's

just, it is what it is. I don't know how many Super Bowls that I've coached in where we didn't turn the ball over at some point. And you just got to keep going. You know what I mean? It doesn't mean that you're gun shy and the next time you get the ball. Like, it is what it is. Like if something happens, you just got to keep playing. Because we're not going to be able to win this game. just, you know, kneeling on the ball. You know what I mean? Like we're not going to be able to win this game just you know kneeling on

the ball you know what I mean like that's not going to happen so he he's an aggressive QB by

nature he's young he wants to make some big plays and all the rest of that stuff we want him to

do that we also want him to take care of the football when it's appropriate and make good decisions. And for him, like going out there with confidence and playing fast and aggressive, I trust him to take care of the football. I really do. And he's done that most of the year. And I think, like I said, I hope these last three games are going to help us on Sunday. Brian, this is something that we've discussed. Chris Collinsworth talked about it to us the other day. He said they're going to have to put the ball in harm's way. They're going to have to, as I've said, dance on the railroad tracks a little bit. How does a quarterback practically do that?

Well, I think they have a blueprint for this, and Josh was a part of it.

And Josh, going against the Seattle Seahawks and Super Bowl, whatever it was, back in 2014,

that was going against an elite defense.

And I wasn't there, but I've heard the stories about that game plan, and Josh has referenced that before when I was with them. And it was like, you're going to be aggressive in the timing of the play. We can't sit here and dink and dunk our way. And the stories that came out of that game was basically Tom telling the skill guys, fellas, the ball's coming out quick. When you break, you better get your eyes around because I don't got the time back there. The ball is going to at least early in the game when they're all ramped up. And so I think what Josh is talking about here is don't go out there and just hand it off and get two yards, hand it off, get another, you know, another yard or two. And all of a sudden, it's third and six against this defense. Take some shots. Let them let them know like you're not afraid of them go out there be aggressive in the timing of the play if you're drake

and there's a play called and it doesn't feel right check it down scramble do those things but you can't

sit there and say we're going to dink and dunk these guys the entire night so i like that in the

timing of the play see see it, rip it.
