| 0:00.0 | Hi, everybody. Welcome to The Librarian is in the New York Public Library's podcast about books, culture, and what to read next. I'm Gwen. I'm Frank. |
| 0:18.6 | And we're going to start out with a little hot topic. Wait, before you do your hot topic. Okay. I just want to tell you something that's going to make you pee green with envy. Oh, I can't wait. I had a fan visit. No. At Jefferson Market. Yes, I did. And it was, I was, oh, my, I can't even describe how sweet and wonderful it was. |
| 0:40.2 | Jefferson Market, as you know, is under renovations in my library. |

| 1:10.4 | to visit New York and coming to Jefferson Market and meeting me, I guess, was one of the things on their list. Oh, my gosh. That's so nice. I immediately got very shy, not. I immediately went into performance crazy mode. Like the hurt. She had three kids with them, her with her, three kids and her, and they were so sweet, so smart and so lovely that I just was so impressed. |
| 1:37.1 | And then they had me sign my autograph in their travel book. |
| 1:40.9 | Wow. |
| 1:41.6 | Which is the part that's going to make you so jealous. |
| 1:43.6 | I am jealous. Nobody's ever asked me for an autograph. That's so wonderful. They said, would you sign our travel book? I was like, are you crazy? What do you mean? Sign your travel book? Nobody. And so I wrote to my favorite fans of the librarian is in Frank. Oh my gosh. Is that the first time you ever signed an autograph? Yeah Yeah not in your theater days |
| 2:02.0 | You didn't autograph things |
| 2:03.0 | Well maybe I don't know |
| 2:04.0 | As a joke |
