I want to speak today a message that is a little bit unusual, but if you've been in Hung Jen, long enough, you know that unusual is our second nature. I want to speak a message today. They will be titled

Dragon Slayer. The day where Jesus crushed the head of a snake. In 1 Corinthians

15 verses 3 and 4, it says,

for I deliver to you first of all, that which I have received,

that Christ died for our sins.

How many of you glad Christ died for our sins?

According to the scriptures.

And he was buried and he rose again on the third day according to the scriptures. I want you to notice that

Jesus' death, burial and resurrection is what sums up the gospel. Somebody say the gospel.

The gospel is not a music genre, a gospel, the gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ

that Jesus died for our sin. He was buried, and he rose from the dead.

But I want you to notice this about his death, burial, and resurrection.

It did not happen in the vacuum.

It did not happen spontaneously.

And it was not a surprise.

It was according to the scripture, meaning it was part of a divine plot, it was part of a divine

plan that was unfolded in the scriptures. I want us to go to the first book, if you have a

Bible with you, go to the first book of the Bible, Genesis, and we will open to chapter 3 and

verse 15. Before I read Genesis chapter 3, verse 15, I want you to keep it open there.
