So, color me surprised.

I thought with two mass shootings in a week and the federal government being controlled entirely by Democrats

and us being more left-leaning at that level than we ever have been before, I thought,

okay, here comes the gun conversation of my lifetime.

Here comes a bigger effort to really change the relationship between the people and guns than if it has ever occurred

and it disappeared faster than it ever has.

Yeah.

It barely lasted a day before even like the CNNs of the world said, you know,

we're talking to people and it just doesn't look like it's going to happen.

I hardly heard a word about it yesterday and today it's gone so.

Wow.

It didn't even last 48 hours.

Wow.

I've never seen the gun conversation disappear this fast before.

So, for better or worse, it's for better for me because almost anything they ever talk about is something that's going to make it harder for me to get a gun

and I'm not sure it's going to make that much different with the mass shootings.

But, you know, regardless of your views, just from a political standpoint, I find it's amazing that it disappeared as fast as it did.

On that topic, you know, it's funny about that just real quickly is that in the aftermath, there was the usual shouting of,

we need to do something and Joe Biden with his impassioned, I'm not going to wait one minute to do the right thing.
