Today I'm delighted to be speaking with Drago Koss again.

He's been on the podcast before, but it's been over two years and it's been a very busy two years.

Drago holds a number of key positions in the anti-bribery world,

but he'll be known to most of you as the chair of the OECD Working Group on bribery in international

business.

Prior to his appointment to chair the working group, Dragho was the chairman of the Council

of Europe's group of states against corruption, Greco.

Drago, thank you for joining me again, and this time from some exotic location in the Indian Ocean.

Well, Alexandra, it's always nice to be with you,

so I'm really happy to be with you after two years.

And it is an exotic location,

but you will not believe it.

I'm here for work, not for pleasure.

I think that most of our listeners are familiar

with the OECD Convention on combating

bribery. So why don't you start, if you would, by describing the mandate very specifically

of the working group, for those who are probably less familiar with that role?

The working group was even established before the OCD Anti-Briber Convention was adopted,

but our main and exclusive task is to monitor the enforcement of the Convention,

which means that we control our 44 member states on how they are implementing the Convention.
