I'm Wes Goldberg. That's Matt Moore. That's Hayes. We have a ton to get to today. We're talking about the Thunder's off season and then we're going to get to the latest reporting around Janus later in the show. But let's start with breaking down the NBA finals. The matchups in the series are going to be fascinating. We're going to do our matchup draft where each of us is going to draft the matchups or tactical questions that are likely to decide this series. But before we get to that, here's Lockdowne Nix on what they believe to be the biggest matchup question in these NBA finals. Yeah, and it starts with Wembe and mostly as like a roller and a guy at the rim that forces the Nix to really suck in their defense. That opens up the three-point game for them. And they aren't good at generating those corner threes when Wembe gets all there on the roll and Castle is a good cross-core passer. And Fox is a good cross-core passers. So they can, you know, if Vesel and Champany are getting wide open corner threes you're in trouble if you're

at least getting to that first rotation and you're forcing fox and castle to shoot above the break

threes then you feel a lot better about that certainly if wemby's taking jump shots he might beat you in

a game or two with his jump shot but you feel feel good about him with a steady diet of jumpers

as opposed to being just that wrecking ball at the rim who can destroy your defense.

But I think it looks like it looks like when be imposing his will as a threat, which opens up

either him as a roller or the three-point game. I think that's what the spurs are going to try to get to. It's incumbent upon the Knicks to try to do whatever they can to kind of take that away. Before we get into our matchup draft here, I do think it's interesting that a lot of the conversation around Victor Wenbanyama right now is, and even in that clip, the Knicks trying to figure out how to stop victor wem and yama

on offense and we talk so much about what wemby is defensively hayes for the nix is

wendy more of a problem on offense for them or is he more of a problem on defense for them

oh that's a great question i think i would probably say more of a problem on defense because if Wembe is on

Carl Anthony Towns in any stretch and can force Carl Anthony, like it disrupts a whole fourth

of their off, maybe half of their offense of production, if you can throw Towns off
