Summary

On this episode of Buckeye Talk, it’s time for another draft, and this one combines a little bit of everything. Doug Lesmerises, Nathan Baird and Stephen Means draft eight rounds of Ohio State Untouchables. The parameters -- take one recruit from the Class of 2022; one player each from the Class of 2021, Class of 2020, Class of 2019 and Class of 2018/17; one current assistant coach; one Ohio State tradition; and one wild card. So in the same draft are Garrett Wilson, Larry Johnson, Quinn Ewers and Hang on Sloopy. There is some cutthroat drafting going on here -- so think about who or what you would take No. 1, then prepare for one of the most fun drafts on Buckeye Talk yet. Welcome back to fuck I talk to River East, even me stay from there. This one's fun. I'm Jack for this one guys. It's kind of weird, and it's footbally, but there's also a little bit of a non football stuff thrown in, and it's a draft, which we love drafting everything. I thought we were running out of stuff to draft Nathan, and then we were talking about this topic, and you were like, what if we drafted it, and we were all like, yes, draft it. So thanks for that.

Well, I think it's the cutthroat nature of it that people enjoy the most, and I think for our listeners enjoy the most. I think we enjoy it too, right? And it just forces people to make decisions like when you explain what we're doing to not have a draft element to it, I think would have taken a lot of the drama out. So I'm always looking for more drama.

1:13.0

Yeah, we like cuts, we like we like cutthroat Steven, we like like stealing things from each other and making each other mad.

1:21.0

I think people are like listening to see if I'm going to take Garrett Wilson or somebody's going to take him from me, and then I have to like reshuffle my entire plan to go about things.

1:30.0

Yeah, at some point every draft I go shoot.

1:33.0

Yeah, it's like we're drafting like favorite cupcakes at a gas station in Stevens, like I'll take Garrett Wilson.

So at any situation, but Garrett Wilson is actually on the board for this. And before we get to what we're doing, let's pick the draft order because I think the draft order is potentially super important for this because I know what my first round pick is.

2:01.0

I can't tell if everybody else has the same first round pick or not. So I wrote our initials on little scraps of paper and I'm showing it to the to the world right here.

2:12.0
