Welcome to the Thursday book on top. We are a draft in again. We're not drafted in a while.

I'm eager to draft. We like drafting. Dude, good job. I think I've drafted in the off season.

Sometimes football gets in the way, but we are going to draft the 15 best offensive players right

now for the Ohio State Buckais and the 15 best defensive players for the Ohio State Buckais.

Each of us will wind up with five players on both sides of the ball. We're not going to mix them

together. We'll do offense and defense separately. To me, again, we always like to outline this

semantics. To me, this is who you would take based on how they played for the rest of the year.

I don't think it's as much like an MVP to this point race, and I don't think it needs to be

too projectiony, but it's like, hey, you're trying to build a football team for the second half

of the season, and I want these guys. We're not trying to trick each other. We're not trying to

like to screw anybody by saying, I'm going to take a receiver because Doug doesn't have one

whatever, just trying to get the best players because we want it to be in the end. We could just do,

we could all just say, hey, that's rank the 15 best guys on each side of the ball and reveal our

rankings, but drafts are more fun. So that's what we're going to do as a draft. Nathan,

I will take the third pick in both drafts. Nathan, do you want the first pick on offense or on

defense? Offense, I guess. Okay. That means Steven gets the first pick on defense, and that means

we will start with offense. But before we do, I want to do this very quickly. I want to talk about

Devon Bogard, who died this week at the age of 27 in an apartment fire in Northeast Ohio. He is

a former Buck guy, a former Glenville tar blutter, who was one of the best guys I covered here.
