Hey guys, welcome to the Bill Barnwell Show.

I am Bill Barnwell.

Today, we are going to be drafting the, doing the math in my head, 18 teams who are currently

out of the playoff picture in the NFL, teams who are not in those top 14 spots,

the seven in each conference, and predicting via draft, who will make it back to the postseason

next year in 2025. And joining me to do that, one of my favorite guest from CBS, it is Will

Brinson. Will, how are you, sir? Doing well, Bill.

Everything is good with you. Excited. I like got I had a little like a lack of sleep last night.

Couldn't know. No, thinking about not thinking about anything else that happened in the football world,

thinking about this draft and specifically like what to do, I mean, like what to do at the top?

Because I think it's like really interesting, just the way that the standings currently lay out, you know, there are some really good teams that aren't going to be playoff teams this year or aren't currently playoff teams and aren't likely to make the playoffs that I mean you could talk yourself into like Super Bowl contenders as early as next year no question no question and there are teams who could make a big leap if they make the right hires at the important spots of coach and quarterback there are are teams where you think, okay, if they

just fix one thing, if they make a major coaching upgrade, the way perhaps the chargers have

with Jim Harawa, maybe that propels them forward. Maybe for a team like Washington, where there's

a blank slate and you hire the right coach, the right GM, the right quarterback, you make a bunch

of signings, but you have that freeway, that freedom,

that latitude to make wholesale changes. Maybe they make a big leap. It is a really wide open

space. And so, well, we're going to draft these teams. One through 18, obviously, it'll spend more

time on the first few than I think the last few. But since you are the guest, of course, I have

to give you the first pick. Please tell me, Will, of the 18 teams who are currently missing the postseason,

which is the most likely to make it back to 2025?

So this one is tough because, and this is what I was struggling with.

I think there are viably four teams at the top that you could talk yourself into taking with the number one pick.
