I think it's it's never really a good thing to just let peer pressure dictate decisions.

But when it comes to ranking season, I say just go with it. There's absolutely nothing wrong

with that, my opinion. That's the thing about content season, man. It really just is. it's like it goes in waves and it's kind of like a fire right like you could see someone starts to ask one question and then you look back a week later it's like how did we get here now we're talking about unicorns versus leprechaun that's like oh yeah started with this niter dame greatest qb graphic this guy made for uh on three the other day and we've just all been talking about since then for what it's worth brady quinn probably holds the title joe montana

used in a different sort of way joe thysman probably getting there before cj car but you never know

maybe we'll be discussing cj Car with what we're doing today.

That is a nice little tease because we are doing something that we haven't done in a little bit. Well, we have a great pod today. Cole Kubula coming up, by the way, we're going to cover a ton of ground on the SEC, a lot of Auburn stuff as well that we get to with him. And we're going to have a lot of the week. And we haven't. it might mean too much that I want to read for the people.

But we are drafting quarterbacks today.

That is the goal.

quarterbacks for 2026 and we did this premise this draft premise the first Thursday of every month

during the offseason last year and this off season we're going to do them the first Tuesday of every month.

So I figured this would be a good place to start.

And when I say, I figure, you figure because you're the one that's like, we should,

instead of just ranking quarterbacks, we should just draft them.

That's a better way to probably do this in a way that Danny danny canal and tom fernelly and anybody else that put forth these quarterback rings probably

should have done because maybe it would have been a more consensus thought instead of seeing

these individual rankings that made me want to pull my hair out right and you see like the

it's like the tired versus wired it's like ranking quarterbacksbacks, you know, anyone can do it. You know, you have lots of time. Drafting quarterbacks live, I have so many more opportunities to fall flat on my face. I could forget guys. I could name some guys that have already been drafted. You know, I could name some guys that are academically ineligible. So really, like, it's just, it's a powder keg of fun things and fun outcomes versus just a whack list, man, you know?
