Will, it is good to be back another mini break by the time people are listening to this

4th of July will be over but we're still doing some American things today as

well as some Texas Oklahoma things with them officially joining the SEC.

Thank you to Pit Bull for announcing that.

We have great show lineup. No interview today, but we're going to start by drafting America's team for 2024 and then we're doing pitch me. Will Texas or Oklahoma be better in the SEC?

Two things that I feel like can go all over the place and I'm here for it.

So this is officially, we're going to call us, can this still be a holiday edition of the

Saturday Down South podcast despite the fact that this is coming out a day after 4th July.

Listen, man, any day can be a holiday in your mind.

We can use the British version of holiday.

I'm on holiday right now, Doug.

Love it.

I think we need to actually adopt that into the American vernacular.

It's so much better to say I'm on holiday as opposed to I'm on vacation. Mm-hmm.

I think I'm fully behind it.

Yeah, I think once you get a little bit too, like we went to Britain like over the like last year and it was pretty funny because I just kind of kept looking around and I was like how is this the pre minute empire in the world like love these people they're super cool

But like some of the stuff they say is so silly I'm just like

Huh, it's how we escaped.

How we escaped and, you know, did the whole 1776 thing.

And that's what this holiday is about, my brother.

Now we're back to it.
