| 0:00.0 | Players to draft before their price skyrockets. |
| 0:11.6 | That's going to be the topic that we'd look to cover here on the Road of his |
| 0:14.4 | fantasy football show with Hayden Winks today. |
| 0:17.4 | My name is Collum Kelly, and I think that, you know, a good topic that we almost could have |
| 0:21.7 | dove straight into. We started talking on the last show is training camp, the information, the |
| 0:26.7 | news and so on, coming along now. And obviously, every decision, every clip people want to jump |
| 0:33.1 | into, I joked on the last show, but the misinformation of some of the clips that come out. |
| 0:37.6 | I mentioned the Aaron Rogers one that wasn't Arnold's,, but there was one, I think, last week where it was George Pickens supposedly catching a touchdown, and it was from last season. Like there's... But we just need to, like, take a breath. People, like, they see it, they click it, they retweet it, they like it, they share it, they comment under it, |
| 0:54.3 | whether they like it or they don't like the player and people want to take victory laps. |
| 0:58.4 | I think it's more important to be right than to be forced in these situations and take a little |
| 1:03.0 | bit of time. But have you any advice for people over these next couple of weeks to how they should |
| 1:10.0 | react in use and maybe manage the situation to not make the next six to seven weeks the most stressful off their lives as they try to and you know best ball men in here and get all the information under their belt. Summer's a good time to go outside. Remember, it's not always going to be warm out. So make sure to go on a run on occasion or go to the park or the beach or whatever you got. |
| 1:32.2 | But yeah, I think that the big thing for training camp stuff is depth chart matters more than a clip. |
| 1:38.0 | And I think you want to trust beat reporters more than one person at a camp and just a fan with the video. |
| 3:08.4 | And then, yeah, the big thing is like you got to understand that these aren't 32 scrimmages over the next 32 days of training camp stuff. They're doing situations. So like, if a quarterback is struggling or throwing a million touchdowns or million interceptions, like it could be like third in long day and like, yeah, you're going to throw more interceptions there or, hey, this player's playing with the ones. Well, like you got to know that Andy Reid always has rookies playing with the ones and stuff. So there's a lot of context that needs to be applied here. Obviously, have some fun. If your guys making some big catches in camp and you want to have some fun, by all means, do that. That is not guarantee he's actually going to be a smash pick. So my advice, go outside, have some fun with it. also realize it's July and August and the games don't start until September. Yeah, I think unless you're on the clock, you're better to kind of try and pick one time of day, whether that's morning or evening and try and digest the information in like one setting rather than all at the one time because it's too much, you know, emotionally. I do think that, you know, we see these clips come out whether it's good or bad. We also have the injury news. We had, you know, the scare with Justin Fields a couple of days ago. I remember back to last off season, there was like a two-hour period where Tyrone Tracy's season was over in Trinacamp. There's always like these things that it's like it's over. So it's, and it also, it does remind you of how, you know, dangers the game in the NFL is. And, you know, once we get into the season, unfortunately, injuries are going to be a big part of it. We're going to try and work through players here that, whether it's training camp buzz, whether it's just performances and the preseason, that may jump because there's quite a few players few players I think around the league that the news will impact based on could be usage you mentioned the depth chart |
| 3:13.5 | how things shake up there and I'm going to start off with one that I think is quite polarizing |
| 3:18.5 | at the minute you know people are either in or they're out like people either see this player |
| 3:23.7 | is a wasted pick or |
| 3:24.6 | somebody thinks that this player is like the best pick on the board. So it's Travis Hunter |
| 3:29.3 | off the Jaguars. Somebody who is in a situation where, you know, will he play offense, |
| 3:34.7 | will he play defense? How will that be split? And obviously training camp reports, |
| 3:38.1 | a lot of victory laps on either side of that with how he's been used. The only thing I have seen is Travis Hunter apparently does not get tired. That's the one thing I think we can confirm from both sides of the count. But Travis Hunter, is he somebody that you think, firstly is he a player that you like for the season? And then do you expect his ADP to rise over the common weeks here? |
