draft notes, game notes, and the biggest event, and honestly, maybe in my football career as a writer is that Andrew Luck unexpectedly announced his retirement.

Well, he didn't get a chance to announce it. Adam Schefter announced it Saturday night during the the

colts preseason game and that's really where I want to start today talking to you

Andrew luck tells a couple people hey I'm gonna retire probably tomorrow on Saturday night

It gets to Adam Schefter and Schefter puts it on Twitter. Says,

hey, Andrew Lux's going to retire. Shocks the world, really. I mean, we saw Coates fans react. We close players react we saw you know analyst and

fans react on Twitter but where this starts is Adam Schefter breaking the news do you

take any issue with Schefter doing that and not letting Andrew Luck have his moment and make his announcement?

Well, I think it's tough too. I think Adam Shefter is paid by ESPN to be the best newsbreaker in the football industry.

I think it's a really tough

situation to sit here and say how could he do this, but at the same time it

obviously led to really poor results Matt with him being essentially booed off the field it created a very emotional Ultimate But at the same time I think we can understand why they were so upset and you really have to feel bad for Andrew Luck.

Forget the God awful takes on Twitter about him, you know, it being soft for not wanting to rehab and all that nonsense, it was ridiculous.
