Today we are 100 days away from the NFL draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Welcome

Yarsh with Chris Beam in the back. I'm Kyle Yeoman. So glad you're with us. 100 days away. Boy,

did that happen quick. Yeah. Here we are, man. Let's get it. Let's get it. It is officially draft season. The first week of the off season always feels like, it still feels like football season. We got wildcard weekend. Then, you know, at least how this franchise has conformed me to think over the last couple of years. Once you get into the divisional week, you're like, man, it is draft season. It is, we're officially here. Yeah. And we're two weeks away from the senior

bowl, which will be out at the senior bowl. We'll have plenty of interviews with players and coaches

and front office personnel from out there in Mobile, Alabama. We're booking our combine

travel very soon. So that'll be really fun. Cowboys Travel Agent Kyle Yeoman. I'm trying my best, man. I'm trying to pull everybody together because everybody's still super, like, distracted with the playoffs and with the Super Bowl coming up and with all this other random stuff. I'm like, guys, can we just focus on the combine? Can we just get to Indianapolis

again? I'm excited about it. Yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun. Tommy's going to be out there. Trying to get Vox to come out. I ain't going to that, man. I'll work here. I'll do a little something at the crib, man. You should go out there and travel with y'all. But when y'all get back? Once you have a St. Elmo's shrimp cocktail, it'll change your opinion on Indianapolis real quick. It changes your whole lot. You can't sway me with pleasantries, Kyle. It's a pleasantry. I didn't have a single sinus issue for a full year after my first one. So you had to re-up it. That was something. Yeah. There's a southern soul food spot in Indianapolis, which I know doesn't sound great on the surface, but I took Tommy there last year. Unbelievable. Country Kitchen. Pretty solid. The St. Elbows, Country Kitchen. It happens every time I go to India. Country Kitchen happened three times last year. Wow. Yeah, it did. And it should have been four. Shout out to Nicole Hutchison. and she recommended it me a couple of years ago. We went, and it was incredible.

Part of how Nick outlined so eloquently a moment ago that it is draft season now.

Now we know who the Cowboys or where the Cowboys are going to be picking in the first round.

We knew it was already the 12th overall pick.

That's the Cowboys selection that was locked in place at the end of the

regular season. But thank you Chicago Bears who come from behind and defeat the Green Bay Packers

in the Wild Card round and get the job done, taking down the Packers. Thank you, Caleb Williams.

Thank you, Ben Johnson. Thank you, everybody. Bear down because now the Cowboys select at pick 20 in the upcoming NFL draft, which is way better than the alternative because if the Packers win that game, the best they could pick, Nick, I believe was, what, 25? Correct. At that point. So the Bears do you a huge favor, and now you pick at 12, you pick at 20. And Nick, I know we were having some off-air conversations this week. This is a big win for Dallas overall, not necessarily because of just the draft capital that's there, but the draft capital that could possibly move around a little bit. Yeah, and the Packers were 9-3-1 at one point, and they lose their last five, and the Cowboys end up with this 20th pick. But yeah, what we were talking about is I know we've had a lot of conversations about, hey, you know, that pick in the 20s, you know, do you trade that one back and pick up some draft capital on day two? That is certainly an option. And now that you are picked 20, you have even more value there to even stay in the first round and pick up a second round pick or a third round pick depending on how it shakes out. But who's to say you don't trade back from 12? What if there's an opportunity, you're sitting there at 12 and you know, you got Jordan Tyson still on the board or maybe one of the, maybe Ty Simpson has an awesome draft process and one of these quarterback needy teams want to jump up and grab a guy like that.

And there's still quite a bit of defensive guys on the board. And you're sitting there and you're like, okay, hey, Tampa Bay. You know, you want this receiver. Hey, Indianapolis. or excuse me, Jets, you want this receiver.
