Day two of the NFL draft is upon us.

Welcome in to Dallas Cowboys.com and 1053, the fans coverage wall to wall here of

rounds two and three of the 2021 NFL draft taking place in Cleveland, Ohio.

I'm Kyle Yeoman's pleased to be joined by the best analyst, the best crew there is,

whenever it comes to the Dallas Cowboys.com draft show and draft coverage in general. Brian brought us, Jeff Kavanaugh, Dane Bruegler from the Athletic, and then Dallas Cowboys.com's own draft expert, as we like to call you. I feel like Brian and Jeff would probably have something to say about that. And same thing with Dane. But draft expert David Helman. Something to say about everything I do. No, Dave's an expert. Just Dave goes to like 100 to 120 players. Then I go to 150. And then Brian goes to 200. And then Dane goes to 800. That is, yes. Someone's got to. Dave is an expert.

That might be the best thing you've said already all day. Dave is an expert to a certain point. And then Dave likes to ask Dane what he thinks. Yeah, tomorrow's going to be, boy, I cannot wait to hear what Dane has to say tomorrow. It's going to be a lot of pitching that direction to that side of the table. And of course, right now it looks like the Cowboys have a little bit of time until they are on the clock. They pick at the moment,

and there's a lot of emphasis on at the moment, at the number 44 overall slotted spot

as the Cowboys still waiting for their second pick. Of course, their first one came at 12

in last night's part of the draft of the first round.

Micah Parsons, linebacker out of Penn State, was taken with the 12th overall pick after trading

down from the Philadelphia Eagles.

But, Brian, I mean, there is some smoke coming from that front office and that war room

at the moment of maybe trying to get back up in the early

parts of this second round. Yeah, this is going to be, and this is the difficult thing that

you deal with when everybody's had the opportunity to sleep on their board. And, you know,

you got all those names up, then you're thinking like, okay, how can I get to this guy? How can

I maneuver? And, you know, Dallas has got the extra picks that they can maybe make this happen. And I'm hearing from several of my guys up on the top near that board that the Cowboys are attempting to move up there. To get in that range, you know, the top of the first pick there would be at 33,

34 with the Jets, Atlanta at 35, starting to hear some whispers about that.

Maybe the Cowboys were trying to get up in there.

So they're trying.

They've got a player in mind.
