Caleb Malhotra is a player that has skyrocketed up the draft boards, especially recently

because of his playoff performance with Brantford, but late in the season as well.

This is a kid who is maybe in the middle of a lot of draft boards even lower.

And over the last few months, his shot up to the top five and now could even be maybe a top

two or three pick.

Caleb Malhotra is the reason why I don't pay a lot of attention to preseason draft

boards because kids like that, first year in the OHL was coming out of the BC Junior League,

which is a lower tier league, goes to Brantford and just has a tremendous season.

And now all of a sudden they're talking about him possibly going for if the Black Hawkawks picked there. If he's there, he might not even be on the board. He might not be. A lot of people think Vancouver at three is the best fit for him for many different reasons. But regardless, he is the best center. Without question. Not the best forward, but the best center. And that's a very important position still in this game.
