Happy Monday good morning talking about some fine print today or this week on the show and that should be fun you know we said

last week everybody likes when we talk about their teams and I figured this will be what twice for everybody's team in

three weeks that we talked about your team by the time we're all said and done

by Friday. Yeah and it's kind of a relevant topic.

Yeah, that's Takes on Takes is coming tomorrow.

It's a relevant topic because we just got through this deadline of 2017 first round picks and applying the fifth year option.

And, you know, for back to back years,

I think 14 of them in 17 and 16

did not get their fifth year option picked up, right? And it was kind of a sobering moment when you think about the NFL draft just ending and understanding that in three years, you know, about half of these players, teams are going to be ready for them to go play football somewhere else.

So it was kind of fun idea to take the opportunity here this week on the show to look ahead to the 2018 first round picks which fall under a different criteria

under the new CBA for picking up that fifth year option.

Everything that was true about the the previous ones, the 2017 was the last year that the old CBA applied to fifth year
