| 0:34.8 | Absolutely. So you're from Galveston, Texas. you run a 4 440 in high school and you were also |
| 0:41.7 | a team captain so what were some of the teams that or some of the schools rather that you were |
| 0:46.4 | deciding between coming out of high school and what led you to sam houston state yeah started my |
| 0:52.2 | recruiting journey in high school committed to to Utah for majority of the recruiting |
| 0:56.0 | process. We attended, we being me, and my twin brother, and Sam Houston State in Utah with the |
| 1:05.8 | first two schools to offer us completely. And so we committed pretty early on, ended up not working out there, |
| 1:12.5 | family wasn't going to be able to see us all the way up in Utah, and, you know, I love Texas. |
| 1:16.5 | So I end up staying home and attending Sam Houston. But after we decommitted, we were getting |
| 1:22.5 | an interest from schools like Tulane, Texas State, a lot of other FCF schools, too. It was just so late in the |
| 1:28.8 | recruiting process, we're really blessed that Sam Houston still had their offer. Talk a little bit |
| 1:34.3 | about your brother. I mean, how competitive was it growing up with them? Crazy competitive. I mean, |
| 1:39.8 | we're competing in everything. Like, mom calls us for dinner and we're competing like who's the first |
| 1:45.2 | one to get in their seat ready. You know what I mean? Like all this crazy stuff, but I'm so |
| 1:49.7 | blessed to have a twin. I wish everybody had a twin honestly. I mean, you never get bored. You |
| 1:53.1 | always got somebody to pass the football with. I always got somebody to critique you, but still love |
| 1:57.9 | you with all their hearts. So's really awesome and it probably helps |
| 2:01.1 | to have someone you can bounce ideas off of going through this whole draft process oh yeah exactly |
